Well... Disney World here we are! What a week.... We started out @ 5:00 am heading to SLC, once there we joined up with my sister Michelle & Matt (our reinforcements for the trip:)). We got to Florida & our condo about 8 that night. On Saturday, Michelle & Matt were nice enough to do a "90" min. tour of a resort to get us all tickets to a Pirate Dinner Show. (the tour ended up being 3 hours, of course) But the Pirate Show was pretty cool. The kids swam all morning and then we hit Disney World for the first time on Saturday evening. The kids were thrilled! There was so much going on. It was a busy busy week going from park to park trying to fit it all in. We only did Disney... we did the 4 parks there, we never had a chance to do Universal or Downtown Disney or anything... There is so much to do there! You could easily spend 3 weeks or more. It would be nice to have a day off every few days to let the kids rest... and the adults. It was go, go, go... the kids were exhausted every night. They just crashed and slept late.
Jacob and I did the 300 foot SkyCoaster! That was definately our favorite thing! AGH! It was so awesome. It freaked the boys out seeing us hanging 300 feet up in the air, and then falling! What a RUSH!
Ky's favorite things were (he's telling me right now): the Lion King Show, Its Tough to be a Bug 3D Show & the Everest Roller Coaster, and a coaster there that we did over and over in Dinoland, @ Animal Kingdom. The "Tower of Terror" & Aeorsmiths Rocking Coaster @ MGM, which was his first upside down roller coaster, and Super FUN I might add! And getting pictures with The Little Eintiens and Handy Manny. And we could go on and on... Oh yea and Cocoa Beach!
Landon's favorites were: Its a Small World, Buzz Lightyear Ride and the Big Thunder Mountain Coaster. (He would not get off of that one. He wanted to do it over and over and over... He put his hands up in the air and everything! It was so cute! He wasn't too thrilled with the 3D shows. They scared him. He wanted to do all of the big coasters but he was not tall enough to do most of them. Although he did the Dinosaur one at Animal Kingdom which was pretty terrifying! He also loved the Beach and Ocean. He also loved the Little Einsteins.
I loved all of the stage shows. They were so good! We saw Beauty and the Beast, the Festival of the Lion King, and many more! We sure had a great week. The boys can't wait to go back! It all ended with another early morning flight home, which we barely made, because the time got changed by 35 minutes and I never knew... Oops! But we made it! Now we are Home Sweet Home!
