.... this is what I've been up to for the last month... well this and one more trip to Utah with Jacob and some other friends, which was super exciting and a blog post in itself. I made a bunch of crafts for a craft show, and have quite a few left over. So if you are still looking for some super cute crafty Christmas gifts... give me a call. These are a few of them. I adctually had an open house at my house last night and did 3 times more then at the craft show... so thank you to my friends who have supported me by buying my crafts! So my last post I said, "2 months until Christmas, WOW!" Now I'm saying, "a few weeks until Christmas!" Seriously!!!
I hope every one is having a great holiday season! I'm "trying" to do hcg through the holidays... I lost 8 pounds one week and then totally blew it yesterday... and today:) Back on tomorrow! I'm not doing the clinic right now. THings just didn't fall into place. So, I am selling the HCG Drops, out of my house. They seem to work just as well. I think I actually like them better.... Hopefully I can just drum up some business without all of the trouble of a clinic for right now...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

I'm Back! Is ANYONE else out there?

Sooooo... Its been 7 months since my last blog.... ooops... but it doesn't look like I'm the only one not making the time to blog. Where is everyone at? Is blogging a thing of the past now? I attribute my blogging absense to when I got my IPhone. It became so easy to do everything on my phone, I quit using a computer altogether. I haven't blogged, or scrap booked, or anything all year. I see everyone on facebook... has that taken over the blogging world? It will be interesting to see how many comments I get, I guess I'll see who still checks in... Should I get back into it? Frankly, I don't even know if I can remember how to change anything or do anything creative with my blog anymore... Let me know if you are still out there!

I can't believe its fall already. We are heading to the pumpkin patch tomorrow with Landon's kindergarten class. Yep, I have 2 of 3 kids in school. Ky is in 3rd grade, he is 5 feet tall, he is playing soccer right now, he LOVES to play goalie! He just started reading Harry Potter for the first time. Not sure what I think of that... I think I'm going to read them with him, since I have never read any of them....

Landon started kindgergarten this year. Every once in a while he comes home and says he wants to go back to preschool. Other than that for the most part he seems to enjoy it though. His favorite part of the day is.... RECESS! (go figure:)) Hey, what is with these Silly Bands? All of a sudden they are obsessed with them. Anyone else experiencing this? Landon is playing soccer too and his little team is so stinking good its nuts!

Kennedy started preschool at Young Years, 2 days a week, then we do gymnastics two days a week. So even she stays super busy. She loves to wear he "excercise clothes", I guess she gets that from me since that's pretty much what I live in daily also. She is still as sweet as ever! She is the most helpful, kind, happy child I've known.

Jacob is still selling security systems. He goes out and knocks doors every day. I don't know how he stays motivated to do it. I think I would hate it, but he sticks with it and I'm so thankful for how hard he is willing to work. He's thinking about going back to school and finishing his BS. He was only a few classes away when he quit going.

I am staying busy.... running kids around, working out with a personal trainer that comes to my house 2 days a week and works me over. I am training for a half iron man next year, in the fall, and a 1/2 marathon, if not a whole marathon in May. We'll see... the thought of running for 4 or 5 hours kinda makes me wanna throw up... but I'd love to do it once at least. I can ride for 4 or 5 hours, no problem... but running? YUCK! I have taken over doing the books for Jacob's company again as of this summer. He took them over when he switched to the security business but has decided its just not his thing. I still work at my dad's office once a week doing their books... and the biggest news is that I am opening an HCG clinic, here in Kennewick. Hopefully I will have it open in the next week or so. Still working out a few things but last week I started thinking about it and seriously everything is just falling into place. So spread the word for me! I'm super excited! I feel passionate about assisting others to get rid of their weight. I can't wait to get started! Other than that.... not much going on :)

Well I look forward to hearing from some of my blogging buddies, if you are still out there.

By the way- does anyone else realize Christmas is only 2 months away?! HOLY CRAP this year is FLYING!!!

Really? 5 months?

I can't believe its been ummmm.... 5 months since I posted anything. I think ever since I've had my IPhone I do almost everything on it, so I never get on the computer anymore. Some time soon I will catch up with pictures... Let's see; the last 5 months have included: Ky's birthday, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Kennedy's birthday, New Years, Valentine's Day, My Birthday, many trips to Utah for Jacob and I, Basketball Season for the boys, and now we are into Soccer and Spring Break is next week.

I turned 33 last week. What a fun week. My friend Pam's birthday was on Monday so a few of my closest friends and I did Pedi's and lunch for her birthday. Then with mine on Wednesday we got together again and Pam and Amanda had set up a scavenger hunt to do at Target. Tiffany and Brooke also showed up there at the same time so did it with us. We ran all over the store putting the biggest pair of underwear, a sexy shirt, a comfy pair of flip flops, a fabulous green shirt, (which was not to be found), favorite candy, fuzzy socks... and many many more fun things... and then they bought me the stuff! Well, not all of it, some of it was to throw me off that the stuff was for me. Then we went to IHOP for crepes, which were sooooo yummy! It was such a fun day! I'm so greatful for my friends. They really made a big deal out of my birthday and let me know how important I was to them. It was AWESOME!

That morning, I had decided I really wanted to get a new guitar. I was going to go see if I could trade in the one I have and get the next one up. Mine was a couple hundred dollars, then the next one is like $700. and they go up from there... Up to $3000.00 and more, I'm sure.... Well, we had been out at our friend's Leslie and Ira's the weekend before and Ira has been making himself guitars. They are AWESOME!!! and BEAUTIFUL!!! And as good as the super expensive guitars for less money because he builds them from scratch. It's AMAZING! He showed us how he does it and it was just incredible to me how talented he is and what he's been able to teach himself. THen we sat around playing them and singing; it was so fun, and it sounded good even when I played it :) I kept thinking, "Man, I wish I could pay Ira to make me a guitar!" But it's a hobby to him and something he does for fun, not to make and sale to others.... So I tell Jacob on my birthday that I want to trade in my guitar. He tells me he was actually just down at the music store, because he knew I wanted one, and they have a REALLY nice guitar... for the low low price of $2,999.00! Seriously?! If I was going to spend $3000. on a musical instrument it would be a new piano!!! Then he says, come with me out to the truck (we were at gymnastics with Kennedy). My first thought is did he buy me a guitar? I knew he wanted to but not sure that's where we want to spend even the $700. We go out to his truck, and he hands me this long skinny square box... NOT a guitar box, obviously. I open in up and there is a piece of wood, raw, shaped kinda like the arm of a guitar book, and magazines with tons of pictures of guitars... I'm looking at it like "what is this?" Then it dawns on me... He is going to MAKE ME a guitar! My very own, personalized, just for me, made by my love of my life, guitar! I was so excited!!! I couldn't believe it. I guess after seeing what Ira was doing he had called him the next day and asked if Ira would be willing to assist him in making me one for my birthday. Ira was all for it and so the planning began. We spent the afternoon of my birthday looking at pictures of guitars picking out the different pieces, what I want it to look like, color, wood, design, knobs... everything. I found some pictures of some I kind of like and then told Jacob to go for it. I trust him. And I will love whatever he comes up with. It's going to be BEAUTIFUL!!! And there is something so touching about knowing that someone is putting so much time and effort into something for me. Something that is important to me and that I have come to love doing. It's so much better than had he just bought me one, which I still would've loved with my whole heart, but this is so beyond words...

Anyway, I am soooo super excited and can't wait to see it. I'll post pictures as soon as its done! It was totally the BEST birthday EVER! That night for dinner we went with the kids to Red Robin and then had some friends over for Fruit pizza! Which Jacob and the kids made and it was soooo good! YUMMY! Thank you everyone for making my birthday a special day and for sacrificing of your time to spend it with me. I really do have the best friends, and the BESTEST husband and family EVER!
