Globetrotters!

It sounds more exciting than it is, like we have been trotting around the world. Unfortunatly, that is not the case. Jacob and I took the kids to see the Harlem Globetrotters tonight. They were pretty entertaining. I have always wanted to see them. Everyone enjoyed it. We've taken them to a couple of Kamiakin Basketball Games and they just love it. I keep telling them how cool it will be when they play for Kamiakin. Jacob says I shouldn't push it, they will do what they want to do.... I am all for encouraging them to do what I want them to do, all the while hoping they will think it was their idea so they actually want to do it. Ya know what I am saying? I hope they want to play sports, they've had an early start to Basketball and soccer. Hopefully they will stick with it!

I'm totally on your side! I started refereeing the rec league in american fork and i LOVE watching the kids play, I'm trying to figure out how to get Grace to want to play without me forcing her to! I hope she loves it like I did!

I know, me too. It would stink to have these tall 6'7 ft. boys and not have them enjoy playing. I always loved it. Its some of my favorite memories from school.

This made me think of how, even now, every time we are at a sporting event (or anywhere they play the national anthem) I have to restrain myself from shouting BRAVES! at the end.

Me too... I totally waited for it at the Globetrotter thing. We took the boys to a Kamiakin Basketball game a couple of weeks ago... I love that!
