"No pictures for you!"

Well, I have been waiting to blog about all of the FUN things we have done over the last couple of weeks... I've been having problems with my computer off and on and have just got tired of fighting with it, so I've been putting it off. Well, apparently it got tired of me messing with it and gave up the ghost. It crashed! and it crashed hard. I have lost... all of our pictures, all of my digitally scrapbooked pages, from last Chrstmas to now (do you know how much time goes into those pages???), all of my fonts for my vinyl lettering business, all of my sayings I've worked on for my Vinyl lettering business, and oh, did I mention... All of our Quickbooks accounting for the business, that is solely on my computer, with no back up since last December. That is 8 months of data! I think I want to cry. I don't even know where to start.

So, now that I have no pictures, I can just tell you what we've been up to. Let's see... Jacob climbed up Mt. Adams with some friends, not on bike, just hiking up. He loved it and has a new found hobby. SERIOUSLY! I don't think I can take any more "hobbies!"

Then we went White Water Rafting down the Deschutes River with a bunch of friends. We had 3 boats of people and it was a blast. We were all soaked before we even got in the rafts on the river, I think we owe Jacob for that, and the water fights didn't stop until we were to the very end. I think we finally called some sort of truce, after being soaking wet for 5 hours. It was so fun though. I think we will make it an annual thing for anyone that wants to plan on going next year. Everyone loved it.

Last week, Jacob and a couple more friends rode their bikes around Mt. Rainier, 150 miles with 10,000 feet of climbing! I don't know how they do it, or why, frankly.

Jacob had a birthday last week, he turned 34! I felt bad 'cuz it kinda got lort in the shuffle of everything else thats going on. We did go see the Dark Knight twice. We loved it!

Throw in 2 visits from old high school buddies with lots of "girl time" (so fun to have you guys come, Dawn and Joy), some time on the river, the water park in Moses Lake, swimming lessons, Landon's 4th bday, which hopefully will get his own post eventually, a Parrish family reunion... and this weekend, we are going to Silverwood with the Ostlers and hanging out up there for a couple of days. We have had a pretty busy summer!

The fair is coming up in a couple of weeks. Jacob will have 3 booths there so he will be very busy and then school starts. We didn't even ever make it camping! :( Oh well, maybe next year. It has been crazy busy and super fun! Hope everyone else is having a great summer.
